DENTON BURN
COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION

Denton Burn Community Centre (formerly the Miners Welfare) was left to the community in 1965 by the miners to be used solely as a Community Centre.
Denton Burn Community Association is a registered charity and is managed by a committee of volunteers who are elected at an Annual General Meeting to represent the views and interests of all users of Denton Burn Community Centre.
Over the years, the Association has gone from strength to strength and
increased in membership and community activities due to hard work and determination by the Management Committee Members, Association
Members, Staff and Volunteers. It is hoped that this commitment and
support will continue to ensure growth in the coming years.
Room Hire, Group fees, Membership and Fundraising Activities all
contribute to the running of the Community Association.
